Diamond Alice

Based on a true story. Three young, destitute friends take over London's first all-female gang, The Forty Elephants, and brutally take on the Metropolitan Police and other gangs to make the Forties a roaring success across the nation.

Writer: Emily Isaacs

Diamond Alice is a tv series concept and pilot script, titled 'The Hoister's Code'. It's an exciting biopic that centres around feminism, the extremes of poverty that lived across the river from the Houses of Parliament, and a whirlwind drama about family, loss, social mobility, inequality and justice.

Separately from the tv series concept, Scriptworks is also launching a patreon page to enable the public to sponsor and create content based in the storyworld of Alice and the gang. Patrons choose the content they would like to see each month, and the results are made public in our podcast.

If you would like to support us on our journey with this project, please click on the Patreon button at the foot of the page.

This will be our first project to offer continuous short-form content across different types of media through our Patreon page, while simultaneously sending out the pilot script to production companies and television networks.
