Diamond Alice
Based on a true story. Three young, destitute friends take over London's first all-female gang, The Forty Elephants, and brutally take on the Metropolitan Police and other gangs to make the Forties a roaring success across the nation.
Writer: Emily Isaacs
Director: Jo Southwell
Diamond Alice is a tv series concept and pilot script, titled 'The Hoister's Code', from a story world created by Emily Isaacs based on the real gang members.
It's an exciting biopic that centres around feminism, the extremes of poverty that lived across the river from the Houses of Parliament, and a whirlwind drama about family, loss, social mobility, inequality and justice.
'The Raggle Snatchers is a series of docudrama shorts on the gang, being produced for IGTV.
Both projects have recently been optioned by Aston Productions, the latter as a co-pro with SWP, so for more information, on the pilot script, please contact them here.
