After teaching the 'cello for twenty years, a flare up of her autoimmune disease left her bedbound, so she completed a literature degree, and after a partial recovery, began in the film industry by managing the production of 13 Graves (2017-2019) while also studying a MA in Cultural and Creative Industries. (Not something she would recommend doing simultaneously!)
Since then, her scripts have won and placed in some significant awards, including BAFTA Rocliffe TV Drama, BFI Doclabs, Jed Mercurio Mentorship Programme, WFTV Screenwriting Labs. To date, she's written, directed and/or produced fifteen projects. She has plans to make another short in 2026 and start publishing the novel versions of her projects.
